Hellooo readers and welcome back to my blog!
Iām so happy you guys are joining me as I talk about one of my favorite things: books. Recently I have been on such a reading kick. Whatās really been inspiring me to read is my lineup of summer books waiting for me. I have so many books I want to cram into this season, books that give off the perfect, summer feel. I really like reading books that correspond with the seasons as it just enhances all the good attributes of a certain season. For example, in summer I like light, tropical romance books, whereas in the fall I like dark, mysterious books.
In this post Iām going to be listing all the summer books I want to read! Hopefully you guys can get some recommendations or motivation to read some of these, because I know Iām excited to.
MY SUMMER TBR
Some of the books on my TBR I have already read, so Iāll list those and my rating of them below:
Pulled Under (second book in the 16th summer series)āāāāā
I really liked this beachy book, especially the love interest in it. I had very summery vibes to it and I loved reading it on the beach!
Swept Away (third book in the 16th summer series)āāā
I didnāt particularly like this book; in my opinion it was a little boring and the romance was not very good at all.
The Summer I Turned Prettyāāāāā
Go read this book right now. It is absolutely a-ma-zing. One of my favorite reads of the year, for sure. It was so charming and relatable. It was really cute and the writing style was so captivating that I finished this book in a day.
And now onto the books I havenāt read yet:
The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armos- Iām currently reading this and I am so excited!
Along For The Ride by Sarah Dessen- The movie is out on Netflix, and I really want to watch it soon, which is why this book is at the top of my list.
Alex Approximately by Jenn Bennet- Iāve heard so many good things about this book, I think itāll be similar to some Kasie West books.
Nantucket Blue by Leila Howland
Meet Me At Midnight by Jessica Pennington
99 Days by Katie Cotugno
Love and Olives by Jenna Evans Welch- Iām so excited to read this because of the gorgeous Greece setting. Lately I have been so intrigued by Greece- I want to visit so bad.
Summer Unscripted by Jen Klein
Saving June by Hannah Harrington
Alright, those are all the books Iād like to read this summer! I canāt wait to dive into all these reads and I canāt wait to watch The Summer I Turned Pretty and Along for the Ride. This summer is going to be sooo fun.
So, thatās all for this post today! My summer has been pretty great so far, lots of running, working, reading, tanning, and swimming. I canāt believe the heat, though! This has definitely been the hottest summer in a while. I recently just got back from Charleston, and I had so much fun. I miss it already. I loved the cute shops and pretty beaches, as well as the amazing city and culture. It is definitely a trip I will remember for a long time. Well anyways thank you guys so much for reading, see you again soon!
