Hi people and welcome back to my blog! Milo just stepped right on my computer. Thanks for that, Milo. So today’s post is kind of a weird mashup, as I’ll be talking about thrifting and sleepovers. I know, weird combination. For some reason I’m really tired today, so don’t hate me if this isn’t my best work. However, this post is going to be so fun because it’s all about, drumroll please...sleepovers! If you’re a girl my age, you’ve probably been to many sleepovers in your life, and we all know how fun it can be when you’re hanging with your best friends. Yet, sometimes we get bored. It’s okay to admit it, but it’s true, sometimes we just run out of things to do. That rhymed! #futurepoet (literally so proud of myself lol) Lucky for you, today I’m going to provide a number of things to do at a sleepover! Me and my cousin Kenna just had a sleepover a night ago, and it was really fun. So I’ll definitely include some of the things we did on the list below!:
Sleepover Ideas
1. Build a fort~This is so fun! Me and Kenna had so much fun building a cozy little hideout in my room. We slept in it too, and it was actually really comfy!
2. Eat~Pizza is a go to sleepover food, but we also like to enjoy some popcorn and root beer floats as well.
3. Watch a movie~ I posted in my quarantine things to do when bored post some of my favorite movies, but here are some examples for sleepovers:
-Sleepover
-High School Musical
-To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
-Hairspray
-The Greatest Showman
4. Make a movie- I use an app called IMovie and Clips and both are free and make high quality movies
5. Games
-truth or dare
-Would You Rather
-Smash or Pass
-3 truths and a lie
-M.A.S.H
6. Do makeovers
7. Do your nails
8. Dress up/fashion show
9. Do basically everything on my Pamper Day Checklist, including face masks and bubble baths. OMG did that rhyme AGAIN?! Nah i’m pretty sure I just made that up in my head.
10. Karaoke
11. Challenges- chubby bunny, smoothie challenge, try not to laugh, etc
12. Prank Calls
13. Pillow Fight
14. Scavenger Hunt
15. Try out some beauty hacks- post to come soon!
16. Go swimming
So hopefully now you guys will never be bored at a sleepover again. I found these things to be really fun, and they are actually things I personally like to do, so hopefully you guys do too.
Now I’m just going to talk a little bit out thrifting! Chances are, you've probably heard of this fun way to recycle clothes while expanding your wardrobe. I have been wanting to do this for a while, if you’ve seen my summer bucket list it’s on there, and this weekend I finally did! My mom took me to Goodwill, and honestly I was a little skeptical about finding good stuff there, but I actually did. I got three things, all of which I LOVE. So the first thing I found was a mustard and white sweater in pretty good condition. It’s really cute, and perfect for fall. The next item I found is now my favorite shirt ever, and it’s a Glee shirt! If you know me, you probably know that I love the show Glee, so finding this blue shirt was the highlight of my trip to Goodwill. Lastly, my mom found me a pair of Nike running shorts, because I’ve been running everyday and need some more athletic clothes. Overall, it was a really good haul, and I’d recommend thrifting to all of you guys!
SO I hope you guys enjoyed this post, if you did give it a like, and I’ll see you guys in my next post which will be another recipe! Stay tuned! 😋
