Hola everyone and welcome back to my blogg! I hope all of you guys are getting adjusted and back into the school routine. I don’t know bout you, but I LOVE routines and just knowing what I’m going to do and what the plan is. So today’s blog is all about my morning and night routine. I’d love to share what I do everyday with you guys and maybe provide all of you with some inspiration. So yeah, let’s get right into this!
Before I start I wanted to give you guys a little update on my dog Milo. Today he got a haircut for what seems like the first time in forever..., needless to say, he got himself cleaned up today and is looking so cute! We did a little photoshoot with him today and I’ll show you guys some pictures below if you’re interested.
So getting into this post, I just wanted everyone an idea of what I do every morning and night. This is my school routine, (I definitely don’t wake up everyday at 6:00 for fun), so just keep in mind that I am attending virtual academy this nine weeks and my schedule probably looks very different than some of you guys who go to regular school. This might be surprising, but I’ve found that I actually really like my routine and everything that I do in the morning and at night.(yes, that includes running.) So anyway, here you go:
My Morning and Night Routine ✰
A.M
6:00- Wake up
6:08- Actually wake up, drink 750ml of water
6:10- Morning pages (morning pages are just pages in my journal filled with ALL of my thoughts in the morning. This helps me declutter my brain and have a more productive day.)
6:15- Gratitude journal
6:18- Bible reading and pray time
6:30- 5 minute meditation and yoga flow (Yoga with Adrienne on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/c/yogawithadriene/featured)
6:50- Get ready for a run:
Get dressed in athletic clothes
Hair in ponytail
Brush teeth
Deodorant
Make bed
7:00- Run
7:15- Take Milo out
7:20- Workout (most of my workouts are dance workouts because they are really fun. Here are some of my favorite channels:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnlTby2BI0Oz2kddSXDH66Q and https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOK8oHlpW1iW1tQSonRlkog)
7:33- Shower (quick)
7:40- Get ready for my day:
Get dressed
Style hair
Makeup
8:05- Eat breakfast (my favorite part. Keep reading for a simple breakfast recipe or check out some of my other posts)
8:15- Start school work
*During the rest of the morning, noon, and afternoon time I do school and participate in multiple Zooms. Now we are skipping that boring stuff and jumping right into my night routine. I don’t really have a certain “schedule” for this, so this is just a general idea of what I do.
P.M
8:00- Shower (if you guys want I will maybe make a shower routine, because it is really detailed)
8:15- PJ’s, brush hair
8:20- Lotion
8:25- Make to-do list for the next day
8:30- Pick out clothes for tomorrow
8:35- Prepare overnight oats if I’m having that
8:40- Settle in for the night (this is basically me either reading or watching Glee)
10:00- Fill up water bottle for tomorrow
10:03- Brush teeth
10:05- Put in retainer
10:07- Moisturize face
10:10- Bedtime 😴
So yeah, those are my routines! Trust me, I’m not making any of this up, this actually what I do every school day. Every weekend looks more like: 💤
Hope you guys enjoyed, and comment below your favorite school day routine!
Like I promised, here is a simple, but very yummy, breakfast meal that I love so much. If you don’t already know, I used to think I was allergic to avocados. But it turns out I’m actually NOT, so that’s good because now I can make this delicious recipe: Avocado toast! Chances are, you’ve probably heard of avocado toast. It’s a very popular breakfast recipe, but did you know just how easy it is to make. If not, here is the recipe:
For This Recipe You’ll Need-
An avocado half
Egg
Bread
(optional) salt + pepper
So what you’re going to do first is toast your bread. Then, go ahead and open your avocado, and scrape out half of it to spread on your toast. If you’re making two pieces, just use the whole avocado. Next you're going to make your egg. I have this fancy thing that makes perfectly round eggs in the microwave, so I use that a lot. Then you put your egg on top of your toast, and voila! This is a super simple recipe, but I promise you it is delicious! If you want you can add additional seasoning/ spices to top it off with. Enjoy!
