Ranking Taylor Swift's Fearless Album ✰iconic✰

So if you don’t know, Taylor Swift is rerecording ALL OF HER SONGS that were under this label because of some drama that went down...anyway, she’s already working on her album Fearless, which comes out April 11th (eight days before my birthday 😏). She recently released her single- Love Story- that was so good! That song, and this whole album for that matter, is SO iconic and I love it.

Now I am a big Swiftie, have been since I was five, and I thought it would be fun to rank all of her songs from the Fearless album according to which ones I like the best. Also, I’m going to be doing just Fearless and not the deluxe version because I like the original better. But I will say Jump Then Fall is a really good song that’s on the deluxe version!

Fearless Songs- RANKED:

1. Love Story- I love this song so much because it’s literally iconic and it gets me singing every single time.

2. The Way I Loved You- Ok I love the music behind this song, and that’s mainly because of the guitar. Also the lyrics remind me so much of Rory and Dean vs. Rory and Jess on Gilmore Girls.

3. You Belong With Me- I think this song is Taylor’s most popular song- and that’s for a reason. This song is really catchy, relatable, and perfect for singing in the shower.

4. Hey Stephen- So the other day I was actually wondering where Taylor gets the names for her songs because she has a lot of songs with names of guys in them like Dear Stephen and Dear John and I was wondering if these are actual people that she put in a song...anyway this song is really good lol.

5. Fearless- This is the first song on the album and I think it is a perfect intro because it’s basically a mood for the whole rest of the album. Once again the guitar in this is awesome *chef’s kiss*. If you listen to the lyrics this song is about falling for someone without fear and I like that idea of ignoring worries and pressure and just letting go.

6. Forever & Always- The chorus of this song is perfect for belting because you can definitely hear the emotion in Taylor’s voice.

7. Fifteen- I like this song because it’s really relatable and is probably the perfect high school song.

8. The Best Day- Omg this song is so nostalgic and every time I listen to it it brings me back to my preschool days with my mom. 🤍

10. White Horse- This song is really sad, but you can’t deny that it’s a beautiful song to cry to.

11. Tell Me Why- Ok the intro to this song is AMAZING. I’m pretty sure it’s violin and I love the vibe it gives. Also this song is perfect to blast if you’re mad at someone.

12. Change- Change is the perfect ending to this album. It’s a sweet song that ends the album with a flourish.

13. Breathe- This song is simple and calm. But I am really confused on what part features Colbie Caillat because umm I don’t hear her voice at all.

14. You’re Not Sorry- Honestly this song is really good. The only reason it’s last is because I overplayed it way too much so now there’s really nothing special about it anymore...but I do love this song a lot.

Ahh this was so fun to do! I love writing about music I’m passionate about, although this was REALLY hard. Tbh I love all of these songs so choosing between them was really hard. I’ll probably be doing more of these kinds of posts, because there’s been so much good music coming out lately.

Actually while we’re on the topic of music today I learned from my dad that apparently the frequencies of music can subconsciously release dopamine in your body and make you feel happy. I think this is really cool because have you ever listened to music that immediately improves your mood when you’re sad? For me, that would be Irish music, Jamacian music, and Walking On Sunshine (spanish version), which are all foreign. So I’ll have to research that sometime, but I just thought that was really interesting.

Also another random thought of mine today was I kind of miss 2010s music. Like music nowadays is good, but I feel like it’s changed a lot and I just really like music in the 2010s. Back then music was all kind of...understandable, I guess, whereas nowadays it’s all about strange sounds and unique beats and stuff. Maybe I just miss the nostalgia. Idk, just a thought. 😂
