Hey hey heyyy
Welcome back to my blog! Happy monday! Let’s start the week off right with a little motivation ⇩
Quote: “Visualize your highest self then show up as her.”
I really like this quote because it reminds me that I have to full capacity to be my dream self. All I have to do is picture who I want to be, then have enough drive to put in the effort to be her.
Moving on, I’m going to highlight some good moments from last week, and then share some things I’m looking forward to this week! Last week was one of the best school weeks I’ve ever had. For one, we didn’t have school on Monday, so that was nice. Wednesday marked the beginning of fall- a fact that still doesn’t seem real to me, btw. I barely had homework all week, which is a FIRST and was also so relieving. And then Friday was Homecoming! I started off my morning by watching clips of a scary movie with Maggie in Wellness, and then I was on the freshman float, riding in the parade and throwing candy at people! I was super excited to see my sisters and former teachers. After that was the pep rally, which was outside this year. At the pep rally it was announced that the freshman float won, out of all the grade’s floats! We were all super ecstatic about that because one, a freshman float winning has only happened like one other time (ever) and two, I helped make it! Then after the pep rally was the carnival, which was a BLAST. I got to pet the most adorable puppies- my favorite one was the black and white colored one! I also worked the FCCLA and STUCO booths (STUCO made so much profit, yay!) and even smashed a washing machine with a hammer. The whole school day felt so unreal and fun. Later that night was the actual Homecoming game, which was the cherry on top. I loved hanging out with my friends, watching the dance team perform, seeing the Homecoming queen get announced, and of course, our team won!
I haven’t had much of a weekend, because on Saturday and Sunday I was mostly working at my sister’s soccer tournament. I was a field marshall and a floater, and even though I was there for over 6 hours, my time spent watching soccer was absolutely iconic and honestly fun. Plus I’m rich now lol.
This week, I’m really excited for the first day of October, which coincides with Caroline Manning’s release of her new song, Teenage Therapy! Also, I’m pretty sure this is the last week before fall break, which is awesome. I can’t believe we’re already three months into the school year, like what…
And yeah, there’s a little recap for you guys! I’m super excited to write today’s post, aka the classic fall bucket list! Who’s ready for some festive fall content??
FALL BUCKET LIST 2021
Make a thankful pumpkin- I got this idea from the In Bloom podcast, and I thought it was really cute. Basically, once it gets closer to Thanksgiving, you write down something you’re grateful for everyday on the Thankful Pumpkin.
Watch the rest of the Halloween movies- A couple years ago I watched the first Halloween movie (starring Michael Meyers) and now I’m finally ready to binge the rest! Who’s with me?
Fall photoshoot- of course!
Bloody Acres- Home sweet home...I can’t wait to go back.
Read fall books- If you haven’t checked out my previous post, go do that! It’s all about what I plan to read this season ⇨ https://brynnmichaela.wixsite.com/website/post/books-i-want-to-read-this-fall
Make some bullet journal fall art- If you don’t know, I really like to keep a bullet journal to do artsy drawings in my free time. I feel like a fall related entry would be perfect to add!
Make those pinterest cookies- You know the ones I’m talking about...the picturesque and adorable pumpkin cookies I’m dying to bake.
Drink chai- Chai tea always takes me back to fall. I love love it and really want to get some of the Oregon Trail mix
Go on a morning walk- Can you imagine just strolling down the sidewalk, leaves crunching beneath your boots as you breathe in the crisp autumn air. You’re wearing a cozy sweater and beanie and your dog named Milo isn’t barking because nobody is awake yet? Sounds like a dream to me.
Go camping- soon!
Wear a sheet and sunglasses and look like those ghost people you always see in pictures- I don’t know why, but this is literally on my life bucket list. It just sounds so fun to dress up like a ghost for no reason and take pictures.
Thank you guys so much for reading! I hope you got some inspiration for your autumn, however you want to celebrate. Be sure to check out my fall bucket list from last year for many more ideas. I tried to stray away from the basic “go to pumpkin patch” kind of things, but don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be doing those along with everybody else haha. Also, I just realized that the day I’m posting this is the same day I posted the same post last year- the monday before fall break. That’s so weird...anyways, thank you guys so much for reading! Now excuse me while I go call bloody acres in search of a job.
peace!
